I live in the tropics and planted 2 of your Strawberry Smile crosses a month ago in fabric pots in the garden. I use KNF primarily.
After initially struggling, one got about a foot tall then went male.
The other is still only about 6" tall with only showing signs of 5 nodes now, but first signs of being female displayed now.
What's your first impression of why my girl didn't get very big after so much time? Soil biology? pH? Maybe not letting it dry out enough between waterings?
As a side note, I started some of your Charlotte a week later and they are a bit larger than the SS. Also started some straight run seeds I received from another grower two weeks ago and they are far ahead in size and nodes.
I've been told that AFs are finicky. Any tips on a better grow are welcome.

Auto flower genetics are very finicky. Growing them outdoors is especially difficult. As long of a photoperiod and sun exposure as possible. Light compost and consistent soil moisture helps.
